Amsterdam Trip

The 3 days trip to Amsterdam was great all in all but few factors really drived me nuts...first day of arrival, we arrive at the Schipol Airport, and from there we went straight to Keukenhof, a large floral garden with loads and loads of, well...flowers~ anyway, I don see the point as the flowers there are everywhere here in Leeds, Tulips that grow out of my front garden are as equal!! Anyway, it was a nice place to relax, definitely not for teenagers, well maybe girls...but anyway, it was a nice place for me to take pics though...HAHA..
After that we headed back to check in to our so called 5 star hostel that doesnt know if they are a hostel or hotel themself so they put up their sign as a hotel but it was searched as a hostel on the net. To me, it was more of a hostel as it LOOKS like one! But service was good. Oh, it was located right in the famous Red light district! No pics though as they do not allow ppl to take any. So, the famous red light district is really one that you have to see to believe, there are tonnes, hell tonnes of them selling oneself! right at the window! I recon the whole place is as big as the size of the city centre in Leeds...you can find all sizes, colours, bla~bla~bla~ and theater for live shows if you're interested...may sound obscene to most ppl back in Msia but its a tourist attraction place, so, everyone pays a visit there to witness the famous street...I'm not encouraging anyone to go buy services there! Hell no! You see kids with their familiers there as well, I mean tourists..
We also visited the Windmills and Wooden shoe factory and my best stop, the cheese farm!! Oh, my....there are LOADSSSSSS of cheese from white to black and infused with various flavours! Nothing much to comment about these places anyway.
What I don enjoy whilst my time there, and what's driving me and most nuts is the way they do business there! Right, went to Mdm Tussauds in London two months back, it was a great experience. Mdm Tussauds in Amsterdam, DONT GO!!!! not even half the size of London's and heck it costs the same!!! and if they ever ask you if you wanted a picture taken by them, just say no!! It costs even if you dont buy, unlike London you decide if you wanna buy.
And KFC, ah, sauces are charged at a blardy 0.30 euro...and thing is they dont tell you! They charge you after you order! Tulan! Pao and two other, went to buy mineral waters in a supermarket, it was tagged there, 0.79 euro, but when they took it to the counter, they were charged 1.04 euro!!! Then we were wondering why, but anyway they paid for it first and later found out, if you recycle the bottle in the recycling bin in the supermarket, they will pay back the other 0.25 euro!!! They really just sell WATER!!! SO MISLEADING!!!! They should just tagg on 1.04!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!! An advice, never buy anything or pay anything until you've confirm the price with the person or you'll get slaughtered!!!
We also went to the Heineken factory, it was a great place...nothing much to see though but a place worth visiting for only 10 euros and 3 pints of beer/pepsi, and a souvenir.
We walked around AMsterdam by foot, you get a choice of using bicycle, which is the King of the road there, even cars give way, car, tricycle, train, or boat...you decide...
Anyway, all in all it was a nice trip but I just cant stand the smell of weeds there, people smoke it everywhere and all day long!! And I cant stand the risk of getting ripped everytime you go out for something!
